Wrapping Christmas Gifts

As many of you already know, our big 5 year old grandson Jacob spends most weekends with us (gives him a break from the 4 year old quadruplets, and gives THEM a break from him!).  We do so many neat things while he's here, and it's just amazing how fast he is maturing and what's going on in his mind.

Last weekend he insisted on wrapping gifts for the "babies" because he wanted them to have lots of presents.  We'd made a trip to Publix earlier in the day and they just happened to have their own little coloring booklets that were free, so Jacob insisted that we get 4 of them so he could wrap them for the babies.    Then he wanted to wrap some books from our book table to give to them -- he said the reason he wanted to wrap those was because he wanted to teach them to read the books.  He also helped wrap a few gifts that we had for his cousins as well.

Here is Jacob after a day of "wrapping".   He wrapped until we had to put jammies on, then finally finished before time to go to bed.   I'm sure the babies will be sooooo happy with all the presents from their big brother!

How thoughtful you are Jacob!!
