Make Decorator Pillows For Your Friends
After my Black Friday shopping today, I'm going to be settling down and spending the majority of my free time making Christmas gifts for as many people as possible. We've already had posts about using your scraps to make a variety of gifts for nearly everyone on your gift list -- and a good place to begin the search for great inexpensive and downloadable patterns is Patterns2Go. You'll find something for everyone there!
I want to show you my "Points & Scallops" pillows that I've made. They were so easy to make that I've decided to make some for several of my friends (if you do this, be sure to check out their living room or family room colors so your pillows won't clash with the colors they prefer).

I have posted the complete tutorial on how to make these decorator pillows on our SewingBusiness blog - stop by to see what you'll need to get started, then surprise some of your friends with these nice throw pillows.
In my tutorial I've given you a pattern for the "points", however if you have one of our 12-in-1 Magic Rulers, you'll have both the points pattern as well as the scallops, which makes it even easier to whip up these pillows.
