Short Cut to Knitting
Many years ago I wanted to learn how to knit --- and I did knit a few things, like scarves, a throw for a couch and super easy things. My knitting never went very far because I just never took the time to learn all the stitches, nor was I patient enough to sit long enough to knit something "real" like a sweater.
A few months ago I decided to work on my knitting again as a "winter" project. Well, I found something even better than knitting needles ---- a knitting BOARD! WHOOHOO, this is much faster and I can really get into the knitting now.
Patterns2Go has perfect "how to make a knitting board" pattern instructions. I got the instructions and made one for myself and for gifts for a couple friends. Now, THIS is the way to knit!!!
This would be an easy way to teach a child how to knit also. It only cost $4.95 for complete illustrated instructions ---- and I LOVE mine!! Check it out --- there's still enough "winter" left to call it a winter project!
