National Blog Posting Month
Yesterday I was reading some of my favorite blogs when I ran across one blog that talked about November being National Blog Posting Month - and there was a place to "click here" to commit to doing 30 posts in 30 days during November. WHEW! Last month was the worst month ever for my postings --- way too much on my plate and not enough hours in the day.
OK, count me in --- I'm gonna TRY to do a post a day; we'll see how far I get.
Another blog writer was promoting that she was gonna do an "I'm thankful for ....." post each day during the month of November. What an awesome idea! She said that if she didn't actually do a post every day, she would at least do her "I'm thankful for...." on a sticky note where she could see it throughout the day. I think this is a super fantastic idea -- if we could each write down something we're thankful for every day in November, then re-read them during December, January, etc - we might all have such an uplifted attitude it might surprise everyone around us!
Well, since today is my 63rd birthday (I was born in 1945, and have been saying I'm 45 years old since I turned 46), I guess it's time for me to own up to my actual age! Not only am I so thankful for my good health, I also want to mention that my mother died of cancer at the age of 45, so every year that the Good Lord has given me past the age of 45, I'm ever so grateful for.
How about it - anybody else want to join the "I'm thankful for...." during the month of November????? Let's get started right now!
