Have You Started Sewing For Christmas Yet?
Well, Halloween is next week, and the official "kick off the Christmas Season" will start November 1. Actually, I've been seeing Christmas stuff up for the past month, but it really gets into full gear the first of November.
The question is, have you gotten started making those Christmas gifts yet? Get your gift list out and start looking through all the patterns / instructions at Patterns2Go.com. There is such a big variety of patterns, and lots of categories that there should be something for just about everybody from the kids to the golf players and everybody in between.
Nursery Room projects has a book filled with lots of baby things, PLUS the best ever baby bath towel instructions are there and are FREE!
For those on your list that are sewers, I'd like to suggest the Sewing Machine Repair for the Home Sewer book -- a super great gift, that will save them money all year long as they begin to do their own sewing machine repairing instead of having to haul it out to the repair shop! What a thoughtful gift!
For the working ladies on your list you might want to give the How To Make Scarves Plus 101 Ways to Tie Them book. With the economy as it is, these ladies will certainly appreciate this book as they learn how to extend their wardrobe without having to spend lots of those hard earned dollars.
For a lot of information packed into one blog, check out our SewingBusiness.com blog -- every Saturday and Sunday we give tutorials on how to make craft items, sewing items, etc that would also make wonderful gifts. The rest of the week posts are full of useful information as well, so don't just look for the weekend posts!
Now that I've gotten you all excited about starting on the gifts, I think I'd better get busy myself ---- I have a couple of projects on the table that are ready to cut out so I can move on to other things.
Oh, don't forget to head over to BeeRanch.com to get your honey gifts ordered -- you will have a bunch of very happy people when you include some of the delicious honey with your hand crafted gifts.
