Well, I've done something I've never done before ---- entered an online contest.  Pattern Review.com has a current contest going that's entitled "Sewing for Kids/Babies".  I've been doing some sewing for the little quadruplet grandbabies and their big brother, and I got a wild hair to make some of the Animal Pals Back Packs from the pattern that I'd gotten from Patterns2Go.  Because there were several variations within the pattern I let each one of the little ones pick which kind of animal they wanted their back pack to be.  Here is Brandon with his backpack --- his got done first because he was the most insistent.



The second picture is what the face actually looks like when you look right at it.
