Name Pillows
Name pillows, or simply "Love" pillows are very easy to make and make great gifts.

Using fabric scraps cut 16 -- 3" blocks; half of them printed and half solid colors. Sew the blocks together, 4 across and 4 rows, alternating the plain and printed blocks, using 1/4" seams. On the diagonal of plain blocks, stencil the word LOVE, or the persons name. You can then paint the letters with textile paints, or embroider the letters.
For the back, cut a piece of print fabric the same size as the finished front. Sew three sides together and stuff with polyester stuffing. Close the opening.
These pillows are great for children or teens to decorate their room, or throw on their bed.
