We love having our little quadruplet grandbabies here for a day or two -- they are getting sooooo big, each one trying to talk more than the others, etc.   And, big brother Jacob, just turned four July 28th -- he's such a big helper and loves to do things for the "babies".  (Let me ask you, are 2 1/2 year olds still "babies"?  I believe Jacob will still be calling them "my babies" for a long time).

Anyway, our backyard looks kinda like a children's park - swings, slides, sand piles (2 of them so they're not all crowded in one!), and THREE water play areas - a regular little pool, a "tub" that they love to jump in and out of, and a water play thingy that has a dolphin on it, sprinkling water, etc.  We don't have the fancy bathing suits - we just let them strip down to underwear and have fun!

The kiddies' mommy will probably get me for taking a picture of them just in their underwear, but hey, they're at OUR house, and our rules apply here!    Big brother Jacob loves having the "overflow" water from the water toys run into one of the sand play areas so he can run his trucks over the "river". 

Summer has been so much fun - we have a fairly shady backyard, so they're not out in the hot sun during the entire play time, and they all LOVE to be outside.  As soon as they wake up from naps they are asking to go outside.
