A Fun Time in the Sewing Room

Boy did we have fun this week in our sewing rooms!  My daughter and I were doing a special "project of the month" for our Sewing Business blog - How To Make Jean Purses and it was GREAT FUN!!  We've done jeans purses before to give as gifts, only this time it was "show and tell" time, and I think we ended up with some really nice looking purses.  I'll give you a sneak peak at one of them ------

How about this for the "torn jeans" look that you have to pay big bucks at the store to find the matching jeans that would go with this purse.  Everybody loves the torn knees, tears at the rear of the pants, etc, so we figured this would be right in style.  I think we were right because my teenage granddaughter has already laid claim to it as soon as our project and picture taking was finished.

Our son and his family that live in Korea will be here tomorrow night for a couple of weeks.  They have a 7 year old daughter who LOVES purses, so I'm wondering which one she might like to choose from the remaining ones.  Check out the three remaining(the ragged jeans purse is already taken, remember), and give us your comment as to which one you think a little 7 year old would like.  I'll post the answer after she does her picking!

My 8 year old would like the one with the pink skirt, for sure. So I am thinking your 7 year old will like that one also.
    They sure came out cute.

I don't know which she WILL pick, but with her beautiful dark hair I think she SHOULD pick the red ruffled one, I think that would be adorable on her.
