Valentine's Day is coming up, and if you belong to a sewing club, or just want to give a little something to some of your sewing friends, an excellent gift is to fix a basket of sewing notions.  You can include whatever you choose, but some ideas would be a yard or two of interfacing, stitch witchery, various colors of thread, bees wax, marking pens, seam ripper, shoulder pads, etc.  She will think of you every time she sews!  When finished with the sewing basket contents, cut some strips from fabric scraps to decorate the gift.  Cut the scraps with pinking shears, then fashion them into bows or just use the strips to go around the basket or box for a decorative tie.
